Flávio began his career as a clown and then as a magician before entering the world of theater. At the age of 17 he decided to live for and from music after being invited by Companhia Marombar to travel to Europe to participate in the presentation «Farsa para Guignol» by Garcia Lorca.

In Seville he studies flamenco art and the steps of the “Sevillanas”. He then leaves for Tenerife where he composes his first song «Samba da Madrugada». His passion for music led him to study at the Jazz Studio (Antwerp) where he played with Paulinho da Cuíca, Quentin Halloy, Olivier Lefèvre in different circumstances. Together, they create the group Shambhala, inspired by experimental jazz (influences: Aka Moon, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis). With Companhia Matalumbo, he returns to dancing for a while and gives his personal touch to a Brazilian dance show & quot; (produced by Arlene Rocha).

In 1999, Flávio returned to Brazil to establish his musical identity where he remained for 5 years. He becomes a composer. Flávio begins to write a new page in his professional life with a tour of Belgium and the United Kingdom in 2004.

Currently Flávio dedicates himself to music in several concerts but also teaching.

He produced the film O Casamento directed by Humberto Teixeira in 2018.
